Meet The Team
Jon qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1995 and became a partner in practice five years later. His aspiration was always to have his own company founded on an offer of an exceptional level of customer service.
In 2005 he and Karen formed Cleverdons. Jon has a great rapport with clients and specialises in tax planning and owner managed businesses. He is also a director of a heritage engineering company so experiences first hand the complexities of running a business.

Qualifying in 1992, Karen managed a practice for four years before leaving to work in industry. From 1999 she gained extensive accounting and strategic planning experience managing the finances of a large organisation.
In 2005 Karen started Cleverdons with Jon and keeps us all on our toes with quality control – nothing leaves our office without a review! She is also a charity trustee and therefore understands the pressures in the voluntary sector.
